Stacking The Shelves: 02-08-14

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews. It is all about sharing the books we are adding to our shelves, and sharing with you our excitement for our newest titles, and maybe even have you discover a new book in the process! It can be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

For Review

Fire & Flood by Victoria Scott - Expected publication: February 25th 2014 by Scholastic Press

A pulse-pounding thrill ride, where a teen girl must participate in a breathtaking race to save her brother's life--and her own.

I fell in love with Victoria Scott's writing when I discovered Dante Walker in her book series The Collector. You can check out that review for some swoon-worthy romance and total badness.

Fates by Lanie Bross - Expected publication: February 11th 2014 by Delacorte Press

One moment. One foolish desire. One mistake. And Corinthe lost everything.

She fell from her tranquil life in Pyralis Terra and found herself exiled to the human world. Her punishment? To make sure people's fates unfold according to plan. Now, years later, Corinthe has one last assignment: kill Lucas Kaller. His death will be her ticket home.

I like the premise of Fates and the setting and romance sound perfect.

MILA 2.0: Renegade by Debra Driza - Expected publication: May 13th 2014 by Katherine Tegen Books

The electrifying sequel to MILA 2.0, the novel New York Times bestselling author Marissa Meyer praised as "one part teen love story and two parts super-spy thriller"

I really enjoyed Debra's debut book Mila 2.0 and can't wait to see what happens next. You can check out my review of it here.
