Book Review: Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter
Alice in Zombieland begins in a small, American hometown with a not-so-ordinary teenage girl named Alice.
Up to this point, Alice has never really believed in her father's fears and never understood why she had to live such a sheltered life. After the families funeral, Alice tries to begin a new life as Ali, a normal teenage girl. She is sent to live with her quirky, but lovable grandparents in a new town where she starts a new school and meet new friends for the first time. But Ali is no ordinary girl. Ali can no longer deny the truths of her father's fears for she can also see what evil lies waiting in the dark - Zombies. Zombies who are invisible and can only be seen by those gifted with a special sight such as Ali can. These are no ordinary hungry, flesh-eating zombies, but evil ones who attack in a spiritual realm and try to eat your very soul.
